Poland with a total area of 312,679 km² (120,728 sq mi) it’s the ninth biggest country on the continent. The Polish population is over 38,5 million people. The capital city is Warsaw (around 2 million inhabitants) standing on the longest Polish river, the Vistula.

In Poland, the official currency is the polish zloty (PLN). 1 PLN = 100 groszy. You can pay with a credit card almost anywhere, but it's always a good idea to have some cash with you. Usually 1 EUR = 4,4 PLN

Krakow offers a well-developed public transport network. In the center, we recommend walking to get a better feel for the atmosphere of the city. Public transport is easily accessible (we recommend using https://jakdojade.pl/krakow to find interesting destinations and proper ticket prices) You can buy tickets at ticket vending machines at stops or on apps like jakdojade, mobilet, skycash.
Taxis are safe and relatively cheap (3 PLN per 1km). You can take a taxi from the Balice airport to the CKF_13 Conference Center and Mercure Krakow Fabryczna City hotel in 40 minutes for 90 PLN, which is about 20 EUR.
You can also take an Uber, Bolt or FreeNow.
